Welcome to Baida Arabians

Baida Arabians is comprised of the mother-daughter team of Dawn Brown and Bailey Meier based on a farm in rural Saskatchewan, Canada. We run a small breeding program focusing on top quality purebred and part-bred Arabians.

You’ll often hear breeders state that they are aiming to produce horses with the disposition to be a family horse and the beauty and athleticism to be a competitive show horse, but it’s the details that make all the difference…

At Baida Arabians it is our goal to breed horses that can compete at the highest levels in both the halter and performance rings while also having the disposition to be a safe and trustworthy trail/pleasure horse for their owners!

In March of 2013 we ventured into a whole new realm and purchased our first herdsire! We are proud to introduce our stallion HH Ibn Muscat.  Ben, as he is affectionately known, is a son of Muscat out of Lady Marev (a daughter of Ponomarev). We are nothing but impressed with Ben. He is sweet, gentle, smart, athletic, he has wonderful conformation, is agile and sound of body and mind at 19 years old and he is exceptionally well mannered and easy to handle. We are so impressed by both Ben and his first foal here at Baida Arabians, a 2014 filly we named Mandela B. She is nothing short of “perfect.” Ben is everything a stallion should be and we are very excited for the future of Baida Arabians!
